That's super villain talk, Adam. How many people have you already killed with your Death Ray for the "Greater Good?"
The Secret Service is supposed to be apolitical. Anyone who fervently believes in one particular individual's version of "the greater good" should be weeded out by the psych evaluation. It pleases me to think that McDugal is some foaming-at-the-mouth extremist with delusions of dictatorship.
Is this going to be a FeelGood story about how disabled people matter and can claim their rights and dignity? Is this even going to BE a story?
Getting shot does not correspond to hurting one's self, Terry.I'm with @fauxprof. Secret Service agents do not get to choose who they protect. Another half-baked KM plot device!
I REALLY wish the last strip in this sequence (I'm not calling it a storyline because as Nance accurately pointed out... there IS no story here) would be for Adam to get up and say: "Well, it's been great catching up with you. That's all I came to say so have a good life." And Terry also stands, they shake hands and go their separate ways--permanently. THE END.Sadly, instead we will be tormented by several more days of this inane dialogue until Mary eventually shows up and finds a smug way to show Terry the 'error of her ways'. Yes... this whole mess will be wrapped up by--oh, what? Thanksgiving? Yeah. That's it. Terry and Adam will be sitting around the holiday table with Mary and the gang saying how thankful they are that Mary brought them together again. *sigh*
Hmmph! If my ex showed up 8 years after abruptly dumping me, I'd shoot him in the other leg (or elsewhere).
Maybe this guy was a "Private Security Provider" not an employee of the government. Otherwise, wouldn't he be in a desk jockey job someplace instead of doing investigation or protection he would be doing organization.
Where is Mary??? Is the comic strip not entitled "Mary Worth"? I demand an appearance! She needs to get busy. Let the meddling begin! Enough of these secondary and teriary characters!
In my outrage, I made a typo. Tertiary characters!! Tertiary, I say!
Anonymous at 12:45pm I think "teriary" could work too, since this story is about Terry. It's a mashup of the words "Terry the air head-y."
Uh, is Terry's coat collar hanging out of her t-shirt?
I'm not sure about super villain. More like stupid villain.
