"You are Mary Worth, right? I dreamed last night that I was to text a remarkable child named Olive when I picked you up, and let her know you are on your way."

I do hope the first numeral on the meter is a 4, not a 9.
Uh-Oh, is Moy setting up the crossover? Distracted driver, accident, ER....will it be Rex Morgan, A3G, Jump Start? I can't think of any other strips with plausible hospital settings. (Yeah, I know, Jump Start isn't set in New York, but wouldn't you love seeing Marcy give Mary a reality check?)
The meter at 411 means the driver is texting Information to report a meddlesome old biddy who's distracting him.
It's really something how Mary has been able to change her clothes the past few days. In the airport she wore a black, collarless top. On the plane she wore a collared, pink floral print shirt. Today she's wearing a salmon (umm - salmon squares!) trench coat and pink scarf. She must change clothes in airport restrooms.
She's probably been yakking his ear off for the past 4 hours and 11 minutes about how wonderful Santa Royale is and how much better it is than anywhere else on the planet. He's probably using his phone's GPS to locate the directions for a great place to leave her stranded where she won't have cell phone coverage and the body won't be found for weeks.
Possible responses by the cab driver to Mary's admonition not to text while driving... 1. What's that you say? (said while turning in his seat completely to face Mary.) 2. Are you telling me this because I'm wearing a turban? 3. That will be an extra .20/mile for making me listen to your advice.
Okay, the 11/3 comic is already online. Who's the blonde who's not from around here and thinks that hailing a cab from the middle of the road is a good idea?

Anonymous, you just won comment of the year so far.
Thanks, Wanders! The day isn't complete without this wonderful blog. I promise to assume an "identity" here someday soon.

Four words for p. 2: PANEL OF THE YEAR!

Tex Textington is actually Tommy Chong, so Mary' s situation is more acute than she knows, man.

I see traffic accident; Mary brought to hospital where Olive arrives in a panic; warns her about ER doctor; can it be? Dr. Kaput?
