Mary Worth 2257

So, America West Airlines paid the product placement fee, but People Magazine played hardball and couldn't reach acceptable terms? Your loss People Magazine. Your loss. Even an airline that hasn't flown since 2005 knows a good promotional deal when it sees one.

If you click the image, you'll get an enlarged picture. It really is America West.

I wonder how the editorial staff of Person Magazine determines which person to write about each week? Is it the Kardashian of the moment? Are they gaga over Gaga? Is it all Trump all the time? Decisions, decisions.

fauxprof- judging by the hair, it's either Donald Trump or Richie Rich (but I repeat myself).

Mary travels in style - with 4 engines it looks like she is on a 747 (and America West did have 747's at one time) - I hope the Santa Royale airport has 10,000 feet of runway to land the plane.

I wonder how John Dill is doing? No floating head for him. Sorry John.

Great secret message, Wanders! Frankly, I don't think Jeff recognizes Jeff any more.

Wasn't Mary gushing about returning to her old stomping grounds in New York? Now she's all smiley about how good it will feel to "return to familiar faces and places." I guess the world is Mary's oyster - or bucket of kelk.

Flight Attendant: Something to eat, ma'am?
Mary: No, thank you dear, I am so full of myself...

It's Person Magazine because it's all about the only person Mary really cares about- herself. Other people are only featured as potential meddlees, or past meddlees praising Mary for turning their lives around by arriving with a home cooked casserole at the crucial moment.

Their Person of the Year issue is always kind of predictable.

This year's swimsuit issue, however, was well-received, featuring Mary in her shapeless nightgown, doing that special dive. Additional copies of this issue are available at an exorbitant price at Maryistheonlyperson. com.

America West sold their 747s sometime in the '90s - then disappeared in a merger with US Air. Do they draw these strips ~that~ far in advance?

It's ridiculous how happy I am to see a floating head, Petunia.
Perhaps there's an article about Donald Drumpf in Person magazine...
