Bread and water - the "great food" Jeff mentioned yesterday.
What teaching background does Mary have? Maybe I'm ill informed, but I thought Mary has never worked a day in her life.
"The girl is great. I'm so proud of her! She's well on her road to becoming another me, not that that's possible considering how great I am, but she might approach my greatness some day if she works hard and gets a lot more instruction from me, despite her worthless parents...."
"I'm so proud of her! She's already pedantic and boring, and I mentored her on her first mini-meddle with a homeless man. Yes, someday she will be a worthy successor. See what I did there? Worthy! So, let's talk about you, Jeff, and how much you missed me."
Welcome to Talking At Cross Purposes Theater. By the way, a free fish wall hanging to the first reader who can cite a single pride-inducing aspect of greatness exhibited by the little truant during Mary's visit.
Pride-inducing aspect of greatness exhibited by the little truant during Mary's visit: Olive managed to operate the binoculars at the top of the Empire State building without using a quarter!
"I'm glad you both benefited from your visit!"--Wait, wha..???? What do you mean "both"???!!! Olive benefited from ME, but no one can teach me anything. I'm already practically perfect in every way!
Sunday A panel with Mary having a floating head of HERSELF is stunning enough, but it's coupled with floating torsos of herself and Olive- unprecedented!
The time in New York "flew" for Mary. I guess the glacial pace that drove US bonkers was an illusion.
I'm with KitKat about the floating head/floating torsos panel. If this isn't a contender for Panel of the Year, I'll be deeply disappointed. It makes this past week of Mary's victory lap almost bearable. Pool party tomorrow? Or at least a new storyline? I think I actually miss Dawn Weston!

The teacher in Mary should be able to come up with more complex sentence structure.
And she shouldn't begin a sentence with "And."

In order to preserve Mary's appetite, it appears Jeff has applied Nair to his chest.

Looks like they're tossing back either straight vodka or gin. I predict by the end of the meal, Dr. Jeff will be wearing that fish on his head.
Two-handed wine chugging. Classy.
Delilah @10:53 - I believe Dr Jeff is accustomed to wearing the fish *through* his head...
Really! I've been reading MW for years and this is the first I've heard of her having been a teacher.

Uh, oh, Jeff, prepare to face the Wrath of Worth!
It's incredible (and narcissistic) how many times Mary uses "I" and "me".
Panel 1: Three times in a single sentence.

Poor Jeff is busted. It's the OTHER woman he's dating who was a teacher.
