Fantastic job, Wanders! I see that the same actor who played Jeff is now playing Harlan. Very versatile and great mustache. The green (elf?) suit was an inspired choice of costume.
Way to go, Dawn, kissing up -- but not kissing, thank goodness! -- to the prof! And, Harlan, I dig what you say about "great character' -- I really wish this strip had at least one great character!
Dawn has been attending classes for twenty years at least, and Harlan impresses her as one of the best teachers she knows, on the basis of one lame lecture on Leonardo. The rest of the faculty must be staggeringly mediocre. Well, just look at Ian.
Great animation, Wanders! Dressing Harlan as Buddy the Elf was pure genius--worthy of "da Vinci".
"You're one of the best teachers I know" is faint praise from somebody who just a second ago told you that only some of the best teachers she knows are good people.
I see Buddy the Elf has been mentioned, but (even though the hair color differed) I got more of a Hermie vibe...kept expecting *dentistry* to come up in conversation...

Many of the characters in Mary Worth that I've seen have been "pretty good" or at least "halfway okay" but often "somewhat annoying."

Some of the best jackets I know are chia jackets. Some of the best chia-jacket wearers I know are unbearably pompous.
I could be easily convinced that today's dialogue was the product of some kind of random-word generator.
Pretty good, but the actors come off as not being robotic enough.
And some teachers, I assume, are good people.
