Poor Dawn thought she was finally free from the mean-girl posses when she graduated from high school, but I guess not.

Wanders, doesn't Dawn have enough trouble without you quoting the Scottish Play at her? (OK, so I was a theatre major for a while in my misspent youth. Old superstitions die hard.)

This is so 5th grade...

Boy, that shrew in the middle is ugly with a capital Ugh. I think it would funny if the person on the left turned out to be a man. Gosh, what if he needed to use a restroom? It's too much to think about for a Monday morning.

You can tell these are tough girls because they call Dawn "Weston" - OMG! Their mere presence made the back of Dawn's phone turn black. How long before Dawn runs to Mary for help? "

The Middle Mean Girl reminds me of Tommy Beedie. We haven't seen or heard about him in a long time. Could there be a back story?

I suppose we could take heart from this evidence that college students today can care about something or someone other than themselves.

Can't a girl spend every waking moment of her free time with her art history professor without being harassed by the tough kids from the wrong side of campus? Sheesh!

Besides Dawn, how many Twitter followers does Wilbur have?

I am guessing that these vigilantes don't have families to take care of.

All I want to know is what Wilbur said that "cracked" Dawn up. . . Maybe she can message him for advice quickly once the mean girls go away. I detect the possibility of an "Ask Wendy" column.

Shmoopie said...

My theory is that Wilbur sent her a picture of the sandwich he is about to devour. Maybe he put olives and slices of pepper on it the create a face. That Wilbur - how could he not crack you up?!

Wow, carlnepa - you called it. Question - does that young woman look ugly because she's so mean, or is she mean because she's so ugly?

Luckily, Dawn has the "ComeBackApp" on her phone. She'll immediately be able to craft a retort that will blow these ladies out of the water. Can't wait for tomorrow's strip as she wields it's mighty electronic power!

I wish I were wearing my pearls. After seeing Tuesday's strip, I would like to clutch them.

TUESDAY
Has KM crossed over into non-family-friendly territory?!

fauxprof said...

KitKat, she's been working up to it with the Ed/Evy tee-hee sessions. KM decided we weren't getting it so she decided on more explicit dialogue, like "sleeping with". Let's join meg in donning our pearls and clutching them while we have synchronized syncope.

KitKat said...

fauxprof and meg, I'm not wearing pearls currently, but I am wearing a beaded bracelet which I am clutching like mad.

Dawn must have the Find MyMary app on her phone, so I figure The Meddler (the real one, not Susan Sarandon) will appear any second now to put those tramps in their place. Certainly before they pull out their switchblades...

Tuesday's strip: "Mean Girls-the Later Years".

How is Dawn supposed to answer that question? If she says she doesn't have a boyfriend the shrews will tear into her. What if she just says he's doing yoga? Will they leave her alone?

KitKat said...

Are "ALL [Dawn's] teachers" male? Just asking...

Gina said...

Is it too early to nominate "Are you doing it with ALL your teachers" for Panel of the Year?

"...donning our pearls and clutching them while we have synchronized syncope". Brilliant!

Amazing how anger has aged those college students.

No matter what happens now, Dawn's reputation is sealed.

Mary always wears pearls. Has she ever clutched them that we know of?
