Self-help, self- awareness, self-medicating, they're all the same in a Mary-centric universe. Without the intervention of Mary Worth, we are all helpless. She is the Higher Power.
I just don't get how Mary will be able to "help" Tommy now that she sat by silently while the doctor prescribed Vicodin for someone with Tommy's drug history! How could Iris and Mary just sit there and say nothing? How could Tommy just sit there and say nothing?
I'm disappointed with my Charterstone compatriots! It off to the pool for me, with my fifth margarita of the day! YAY!
I, too, salute Joe and wish him well, but does it really make any difference who illustrates this dreck?
I am truly going to Miss Uncle Joe's day to day inconsistencies. I certainly hope the new team will still allow collarless shirts to morph into button downs and room arrangements to change daily.
Well, even though Mr. Giella won't be drawing the strip, Karen Moy will continue to write it, so there's that. And we can still eagerly anticipate June's view of the Camerons!
Maybe Mary did not type that sentence about self help - it could be malware. Maybe someone's taken control of Mary's pc and will demand a ransom payment.
Will there still be floating heads now that Mr. Giella is retiring? I hope he enjoys retirement for many years. He sounds like a nice guy.
MONDAY
Day One of the June Brigman World Order...the Charterstone hallway looks the same, though the framed art is not of shrubbery. We'll see if all flowers in vases are pink.
With such a busy schedule, maybe Iris could stand to tap into Tommy's painkiller supply. The Vicodin eliminated Tommy's stress!
