Mary Worth 2473

Well, it appears that we've finally found an appropriate use for BOLD lettering.

Mary/Wendy advises her supplicant to be bold. Iris, being bold, has dinner with Zak. Now, given KM's legendary writing style, could this signal the end of the Iris storyline? We can but hope. Hoiday pool party, anyone?

No, we'll be subjected to Iris's dinner for the next week or so. They might break for Christmas before returning to Cafe to finish their meal.

As tediously maddening/maddeningly tedious as Iris is, I want to see her introduce Zak to Tommy. Of course, if that happens, KM will do it so clumsily that I'll bang my head against the wall.

Dr. Jeff should be bold and welcome someone new into his life. Someone who's less than 103 years old.

If Iris were to reach out and grab Zak under the table, now THAT would be bold!

Hmmm ... Has Mary Worth EVER done anything BOLD? The boldest thing that I can remember her doing was when she took off for a vacation at the Pax Wellnes resort spa in the desert. What could have caused this change in Mary's outlook? ... Review past interactions for possible causes.

Hold on. Mary is telling the letter write that new things can be exciting and fun! And to not be afraid to live! But the letter writer didn't say what the job was. Maybe it involves scrubbing toilets at truck stops or shovelling hog manure.

On the one hand, I really don't want to hear about Tommy again, but on the other hand, Tommy meeting Zak could be horrifically awkward and funny.

I agree that Tommy meeting Zak would be great, but I'm still hoping for Tommy and Dawn Weston as a couple (of losers). No doubt they could have some great bible sessions together.
