Mary Worth 2654

Careful, here, Dawn. This isn't some widowed art professor who takes you to lunch at the student center cafe. This is Dr. Ned Fletcher, Divorcé, who takes you to dinner at Le Cochon ("The Pig" - French foreshadowing) and makes a point of telling you how excruciatingly "lonely" he is. When he invites you home to practice yoga, he won't mean it literally this time.

It's good to see that June is carrying on the tradition of unidentifiable food. Note the chunk of something colorless and unappetizing impaled on Dawn's fork. A small ravioli or gnocchi, perhaps? A lump of tofu? A glob of fat? Anyway, it's impolite to gesture with your fork, especially when it contains what might be a foodlike substance.

Actually, the foodlike substance is identified. Dawn tells us that it is called a "perk". It's a perk on a fork. Yum.

When did Ned change his shirt? He had a teal one on when he told Dawn he likes to get to KNOW his employees.

Ha haaaa, ravioli! With a cup of chili for an appetizer.

Dawn fell out of the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down.

Ahaha, he took Dawn to a restaurant called Le Cochon (the pig). That could be un faux pas but maybe he's met her father?

Is working until just past five really working all that late?

He said you could call him Ned outside the office (which is odd given his name is Jorge); he didn't say you were friends.

Ah, well.

This 'romance' is the set up for Wilbur's return.

WHY AM I THE ONLY ONE TO HAVE COMMENTED ON WANDERS' NEW AVATAR?

@Anon at 7:12 p.m.

We're pretending we never saw it and praying it never happened. Kind of like the Trump administration.

For a true gourmet treat, let's assume the French ravioli is stuffed with Splak.
