Mary Worth 2723

It's worse than you think, Iris. Fabiana is taller, has raven black hair, and is dressing a whole lot sexier than you imagine. Also, she's running her fingers through his combover.

Iris's double floating-head fantasy needs fine tuning. She's off on sexy girlfriend's height, hair color, and revealing clothing. Maybe Tommy would have some hints.

Is anyone else annoyed that KM is using the hot Latina chick stereotype, complete with plunging neckline and thigh-high slit? Sheesh.

KitKat, I've come to expect stereotype characters from Moy. Next, Fabiana's going to say, "Aye, Wil-burr. Coochie! Coochie!"

I'm more concerned about Iris' green hair. Too depressed to wash - or trying to fit in with those young college kids?

Wanders, it's fitting that she's reading History 101, since she's now part of Wilbur's past.

I would argue that Iris IS out of her mind.

Today's Boldface Haiku is titled "In Which KM Sums Up The Body Of Her Work".

Not!

She felt bad about Zak, who she broke up with. Now she feels bad about Wilbur, who she broke up with. Seems as if she just likes being miserable.

Like the song says, Go ahead and feel bad if it makes you feel better.

History 101? At the university level? That’s a fairly slim volume. What kind of “history” does the course cover? Something like: stone tools, Greeks, Dark Ages, lots of wars, Columbus, gunpowder, steam engine, more wars, airplanes, more wars, Trump? And to think I went to the trouble to get an entire Masters’ Degree!

Agreed, KitKat -- I will also be mad if they turn out to be grifters.

Iris - other than the oddly placed blonde spot - has a really classic case of swimming pool green hair. Mr Alora needs to switch to a non-cupric algaecide, stat!

Hasn't Iris been a student for the last several years? Why is she still taking courses like "History 101?"

I'm afraid Iris is looking more and more like Dawn Weston...How long until she's at the supermarket fondling a canteloupe with the thought bubble, "Reminds me of Wilbur"?

Shouldn't Wilbur's comb over be flowing in the wind like Fabiana's?

I question the business model that SR University runs on, it seems they let students just attend classes for years on end, with no real goal in sight. Aren't there counselors that are guiding the students towards an eventual graduation?

Dave in Parma said...

I respectfully disagree Chester--apparently it's the perfect business model. People pay them to show up and basically be babysat for years while only have a History 101 book or 'interning' as a desk worker for a dental agency. Cash Cow (and I'm not referring to Wilbur or the Professor in saying that).

I'm not clear on why Iris wastes time pining for Wilbur when she can have any young guy she wants. These college boys are not short, fat, middle-aged, bald and bespectacled like Wilbur Weston, either. It's multiple choice, Iris. For that matter, what exactly does Fabiana see in Wilbur, besides an easy person to rip off? I predict that Wilbur's relationship with Fabiana will be short lived and that he'll get back together with Iris...though that may take some time.

Dawn does the "adulting" and Wilbur does the "childing!"

OMG, it's not History 101, it's History lol

maybe History 101 is the journal of her relationship with Wilbur, and she's about to REWRITE IT
