I really hope nothing surprising happens after he enters Pedro's studios.
I'm sure you're right, Wanders.I think it would be funny if "cousin" Pedro asks for expensive jewelry for dance lessons. If this is on the up and up, I cringe at the thought of Wilbur wearing a wife beater like "Cousin" Pedro dancing with Amazon Fabiana.
Tomorrow: Wilbur walks down the hall, hears giggling, and begins to open the door to Pedro’s studio. Segue to the big reveal on Thursday...of Mary beaming over her lovely kelk-stuffed turkey as temporary orphan Dawn passes the splak gravy to a perpetually frustrated Dr. Jeff.
@Regina Wolfe-Parks at 7:31 a.m., the only thing worse than Wilbur in a wife beater is Wilbur in a wife beater the color of today's polo shirt. Let's call this color "nausea-inducing chartreuse -avocado." Ugh.Won't Wilbur be miffed when (1) Pedro refuses to give him a family discount and (2) his credit card is denied?
Señor Wilbur! What the hell are you doing h . . . uh, I mean Welcome, welcome! Uh, Fabiana is . . . uh, how you say, indisposed at the moment. She's, uh, she's changing into her dancing outfit . . . AREN'T YOU, FABIANA? Yes. And I, too, was just changing into mine. Soooo, to what do we owe the unexpected pleasure of your company? -- Scottie McW.
Today's Boldface Haiku is titled "Wilbur Hits On The Key To His Future Happiness With Fabiana".Oh! Love!Must...Imagine me less!
This being "Mary Worth," place your bets on how long it takes Wilbur to get that door open. I'm thinking Monday.
Scottie McW - you nailed it - I'm still laughing. And I'm hearing Pedro's voice as Joey (Kevin Kline) in the movie, "I Love You To Death."
I know - Joey was Italian - but for some reason, I'm still hearing Pedro speaking like him.
Best Boldface haiku to date: "Imagine me less". My prediction for what awaits Wilbur as he opens the door --No dance studio. In fact, Pedro, the Joyeria, and Fabiana have all vanished, leaving Wilbur with naught but a damp credit card receipt to weep over...
Will there be a mirror image of this situation in the Iris-Zak relationship? Zak attempts to get Iris’ nest egg to say his struggling company. (Or, Iris attempts to extract Zak’s fortune from him.). Calling Mary Worth!
Save his struggling company, that is.
Watch Wilbur chase the rabbit Through the Looking Glass
The look on Wilbur's face in the first panel is kinda creeping me out.
I think it's a really bad indicator that "cousin" Pedro has already taken down the "Estudio de Baile" sign above the door. Expect Wilbur will find an empty store front to match his empty wallet. And stomach. I can't remember te last time he had a sandwich.
I think we all know whom & what Wilbur will find when he gets to the back of the studio to observe some horizontal dancing!
