Whew! Mary will not deny the world of her muffins! She's so good and noble that way, always thinking of other people. Except for the next old lady that Ted Miller will molest.

Today's boldfaced words should make a doozy of a haiku, so I can't wait for Nance to weigh in. We seem to be stuck with For the Love of Muffins for another week - bleah.
Jeff and Mary need to stop equivocating - is Ted Miller an old friend, or a casual acquaintance of Jeff's? What evidence does Jeff have that Ted's "a good salesman"? Other than Ted selling Vague Jeff a bill of goods. What kind of relationship do Mary and Jeff have where she fails to mention that old buddy/a guy Jeff barely knows attacked her in her own home? What a pair.
I am so annoyed at Maren Koy. She takes something "ripped from the headlines", has our protagonist get molested and she has Mary shrug it off like Ted, excuse me, Ted Miller asked for her phone number. You would think she would tell Jeff or SOMEONE, ANYONE that this guy is a predator. But no, Mary is all about the muffins and nothing else. Also, if Ted Miller is a "casual acquaintance" that you hadn't seen in a while and it obvious you know very little about him, why would you bring this stranger to someone's home?
These two are total morons and deserve each other. Shame on you as well Maren Koy for making light of a serious matter.
Didn't Mary just say that she wasn't going to market her muffins? Maybe, she's gone senile and doesn't really track well from one moment to the next. That would explain quite a bit, actually. She doesn't need Jeff to be a better boyfriend, because she doesn't really know who he is. She doesn't need to report the attempted rape because she can't really remember if it was a dream. And she's not at all sure what she's gonna do with all those muffins.
Is this strip for real? Yeah, Mary, get your muffins out there! Let's not talk about the elephant in the room! Agitated Aggie from Pax Wellness, we need you to come over and talk to Mary so she can set her priorities straight!

“Get your muffins out there” sounds like and exhortation from one of those tough TV fitness coaches.
Mary needs an intervention from Frances MacDormand....
Is Jeff a Stepford boyfriend or what?
How good can these muffins really be?!

"Um, Jeff, this is difficult for me to say, but, um, well, Ted Miller tried to sexually assault me this morning."
"Oh yeah, I forgot to warn you about that, ha ha. Yeah, he does that all the time. He's a real character!"
