Panel 1 explains that Wilbur is watching Modern Family, so presumably, it is Sofia Vergara who reminds Wilbur of Fabiana. I'm just guessing. I see on Wikipedia that she was born in Colombia, just like Fabiana. I've never watched Modern Family, so let me see if I can find a clip on YouTube.
Wow! I am definitely going to start watching this show. She is hilarious! In fact, the only difference between Sofia Veraga's character and Fabiana is that one is better written.

I predict Wilbur will start writing stalkerish love letters to Ms. Vegara and then show up at her house. She will then take a restraining order out on him. That would be a good plot. However, we'll probably be treated to Wilbur showering and singing sad country and western songs for the next month.

I used to watch Modern Family when it first started (realprof liked it, I’m more of a Big Bang Theory fan, myself) and I recall Sofia Vergara as being brunette at first. So I saw the resemblance to Fabiana, the same way Derek Hoosier resembled Benjamin Bratt. Nothing that Karen Moy comes up with resembles a coherent plot line, however.
Maybe Wilbur should start watching "Roseanne". He could feel better about his life, and he definitely won't see anyone who reminds him of Fabiana..
I would expect that having his pocket picked would be a better reminder of Fabiana.
So since Wilbur didn't buy new shoes is he never going to leave his condo again? TV, shower, TV, shower... - the larger time-loop being replaced with a tighter time-loop.
For Pete’s sake, are we going to be confronted by Wilbur returning to the shower and singing “adios” to Fabiana? More of that will push us over the edge.
I’m surprised KM used the actual show title. Based on her past performance, I would have expected something like “Contemporary Family.”

I can't believe I know this, but Sofia Vergara is naturally blonde. The produces of Modern Family thought it would be more realistic if she was a brunette for the show.
@MissScarlet a percentage of Colombians are blonde haired and blue eyed. Don't ask me what percentage but I was in Bogota a few years ago and made that observation. And, no, they weren't tourists.

watch the reruns that are on all the time. The current season is not as funny imho. They've been on too long.
