Run, Brandy, run. Run as far and as fast as you can.
Ooohhhh, being near water is great therapy. I thought singing karaoke was great therapy. I've been singing local karaoke twice a week all month and it hasn't worked. I think I'll go near the water instead. At Lookout Point.

Mmmm....cottage cheese pie a la mode. Nobody’s favorite.
Well, Brandy, you are one lucky lady. Thankfully, your mother had the good sense to give birth to you in the Worthiverse. All you need to do to be happy here is to ask Mary Worth to set you up with a good man who wants to marry you. And if you're really lucky, there will also be an empty apartment at Charterstone! But first step, get rid of Tommy.
Wait, there's more! As Mr. Allora is moving Brandy into Charterstone, he notices her earring which just happens to be the rare pearl that he'd given to Brandy's mother as an engagement ring (Brandy's mother had it made into an earring when she found out she was dying)! So he knows that Brandy is his long-lost daughter - the one that had a crappy childhood because he never showed up to marry her mother who assumed she'd been dumped by her lover, Mr. Allora, but it was only because he'd knocked himself out when his handcart fell on his head and he's had amnesia all these years but now remembers everything, now that he sees that pearl! The End!
“Dear Ask Wendy,
How many dates should a guy and his new girlfriend go on before he mentions that he’s a convicted felon who was incarcerated and also has a serious drug addiction?
Asking for a friend...”
Today’s Boldface Haiku is titled
“The MW HMO Offers Many Mental Healthcare Options, Including Alternative Therapies”.
Action thrillers run! Movie character escapes!
Movies running. Where?
Santa Royale Boardwalk. Therapy.
Rough childhood forget.
All past, forget...
(Forget pain...you, me).
That's one of the worst Sunday platitudes ever.
Meanwhile in Beautiful Italy, Dawn and the chivalrous Harlan linger over a breakfast of eggs Florentine, and she tells him all about her crappy childhood.

How much longer is the banal dialogue going to go on...run Brandy, run!
I think Brandy will find out about Tommy’s nefarious last when the parole officer comes to the house when Brandy’s there.
Such boring activities! No kite-flying? No flying around in hot-air balloons? No parkour? Sheesh!
@Anonymous at 8:56 AM: Are you sure that's a pearl earring? It looks like Brandy's wearing an Advil to me. Pretty soon, she'll be taking one for the headache Tommy's giving her!
Sheesh! Argh! @#$%!
I love the Mr. Allora twist! And that is one awesome boldface haiku today. Scottie McW, Dawn's crappy childhood made me laugh. I'm sure Harlan is getting an earful.
Monday: OMG, look at those eyes! Tommy's back on the drugs.
A rough childhood you say? I didn't realize Dawn had a sister.
I immediately thought that either Tommy was looking in a mirror or that Iris was looking in a mirror. Uncanny. Readers of a certain age, do you recall the Doublemint Twins? Now we have the Tweedlebeedie Twins.
Oh my. Tommy's been out for one dinner and he thinks he's in love. I also see he's still calling his mother, "Ma," and is wearing a wife-beater shirt. He also looks like he's on meth again. I think Brandy is going to have a real creeper to run from and not just an imaginary one.
Jeez, Tommy's wearing a wife-beater. That's worse than wearing a Speedo.
I surprised he doesn't have face and neck tattoos.

"How's work?"
"Great! Work is manageable. I don't have to exert myself . . . or even care."
-- S. McW.
Scottie McW, didn’t Tommy have tats in the Uncle Joe days?
@fauxprof
I'm a relative newbie here, so I'm not well versed in MW history beyond two years or so. I pick up what I do know from you guys. But yeah, it seems any self-respecting meth sales rep would be flaunting some conspicuous ink, preferably of the obnoxious variety.

Coiled snake, right bicep, MW1810, 5/9/2014. Over and out, back to listening to Conelrad.
Iris says, "How was WORK yesterday? I didn't hear you come in last night. I was too busy languidly relaxing in the arms of ... ZAK!!!
July 4th, 2016 You can see Tommy's tattoo. Maybe Tommy's cleaning up his act by having it lasered off.
Brandy’s name is written in a different font. This is a sign that she is not The One.
