Mary Worth 2925

I'm glad to see them not going out for dinner. For a stock boy and a cashier, they sure eat out a lot! Besides, their dinner conversation was making me lose my appetite.

Purple is my favorite color and there is A LOT of purple in the Worthiverse. But looking at Brandy's handbag - and I'm certainly not a fashion expert - shouldn't the polka dots be a different color than the background?

Wanders, you are right, they eat our way too much! Some "cup a noodles" and purple ginger ale on their lunch break would make more financial sense.

Now that Brandy has unburdened herself with her weepy tale of woe, it looks like it's Tommy's turn.

Payback's a @#&!% too.

What a knack for suspense has KM! I know I won't be able to sleep tonight wondering what Tommy needs to tell Brandy.

The sign in the window says "%50 OFF CLOSEOUT"

I hope that's not their little market. Perhaps it's Rick's Sporting Goods.

Oh, yes, Tommy, you have something to say. It's Martyr's Day in Burma, and you're going to shave.
Not falling for the hint he might spill the beans. No sirree!

I figure the 50% Closeout Sale is at Freda’s. There are a lot of dented cans (dropped by Tommy while he stared at Brandy) and dairy products past the sell-by date.

So Is Tommy about to spill his guts about his criminal past right there on the sidewalk? More oversharing in public? Ugh.

So in addition to being Stock Boy at Freda's our man Tommy is also an Uber driver? Pretty presumptuous of Brandy (a fine girl, I'm told) to order Tommy to drive her home. Tommy: you're a dope.

Seriously! Bossy much? He offers to give her a ride, and now she just expects it. Sheesh.

r u ok, you're right, Brandy has a lot of purple going on, and all the same shade of purple. I wonder if her pants are the same color.

And you're right, kitkat, why are these two always sharing their deeply personal moments in public? I'm assuming Tommy doesn't take Brandy back to his place because he doesn't want her to know he lives with his mom. What about her place? What's she hiding?

Will Tommy tell Brandy the truth? Will Brandy accept it? Will she send him packing? Will she keep dating him anyway so that she doesn't have to take the bus? The suspense is...mildly interesting.

"But before I do..." I figure your share of gas and wear and tear on my car driving you home comes to $50.00. Let's settle up now!
