Mary Worth 3055

Poor, Ian. The only student he ever loved, turns on him like a weather vane in Kansas. I really, really thought they had a future together.

And when he gets home, his jealous wife will have packed her bags and left again.

Ian, you dope.

It's fortunate for Ian that Hilton Berkes is observing this interaction from behind that two-way glass. Jannie might be inspired to accuse Ian of more than giving her a failing grade.

Jannie is what we used to call back in the (pre-woke) day a psycho chick.

And poor Ian gets a rude introduction to reality (inasmuch as MW ever dabbles in reality).

So now I suppose she'll try to ruin Ian's career, if not his life. This could get really ugly.

Meanwhile in Beautiful Italy, Harlan gives Dawn an A+++++++++++.

Poor Ian, you were taken in by a pretty (?) face and insincere flattery.

Next, this bunny boiler is going to go to Toby and make up some lies about her and Chinbeard. A normal wife would look at Ian and say "You've got to be kidding, lady.", but this is Toby we're talking about. She'll be packing her bags and be moving back in with Mary.

Either that or Jannie is going to move on to Harlan Jones and let him "inspire" her, like he did Dawn. Look for a cat fight outside SRCC.

Today's Boldface Haiku is titled

"You Me Or Not You Me, That Is The Question".

Want "F"...deadline, didn't!
Inspired. What happened?
You me? Ha!

And when Ian gets home, Toby will hear the sweetest words known to any spouse: “You were right, dear.”

Ian is even more of a schlub than I imagined. What college professor a. lets a student get away with spouting curses at him, b. feels the need to woefully remind said student of statements she obviously didn't mean? You just gave her the upper hand, Ian. She's going to come up on you like undigested kelk casserole, now.

Darn it, I slipped that inaccurate comma in before now. Hate that.

Anonymous: Did you forget that Dawn was home for Christmas? That's okay. I forgot that Toby moved in with Mary the last time she had a problem with Ian.

I guess that was Dawn at Christmas dinner, or perhaps it was a lifelike cardboard cutout that Wilbur has taken to carrying around with him.

Careful, Louise. The pedantic grammar and punctuation police are watching.

In what sort of unaccredited-community-college-slash-Betsy-DeVros-labor-camp is this interaction taking place? I’m very worried Ian will somehow lose his job, and end up as the most pompous team member McDonald’s has ever seen. Though he will make more money.

Professor Cameron, do you really need to ask "what happened?" Do you still not understand that Jannie played you like a fiddle in hopes of a good grade for zero work? Ms. Moy is perpetuating the stereotype of the academically gifted college professor utterly lacking in common sense, which is annoying.
