During the next couple of weeks, Mrs. Wanders and I will be driving across the country, visiting family and going to Disneyland. I’m not bringing a laptop, and creating these posts on my phone is kind of tricky. So I may not be posting every day. Secret messages are especially hard so don’t count on those. And there may be more Me than Mary Worth here for a couple of weeks, especially if we come across any roadside attractions.

As to Dawn (as Edith Piaf), she wouldn’t know actual love from physical attraction if she lives to be 100. And she’s halfway there by my reckoning. Sadly, it looks as though Kindly Stranger with Facial Scars will be the same kind of one-shot deal as the Magical Hobo.

Dawn as Edith Piaf - ha ha ha! I thought she was stuck in an extremely narrow space and squished against a window. She certainly deserves something like that. Of all the tiresome characters in MW, Dawn’s at the top of the list. Granted, it’s a big group. Mr. Allora/Alora may be the only non-tiresome character.
One again KM includes a cameo by a person of color to “save” a regular character and who then promptly disappears. Remember Dr. Sweater Vest rescuing Wilbur in one appointment? And, going back to Mary’s trip to NYC to visit Dear Old Shelly Cohen (was that her name?), International humanitarian Dr. Milton Smith popped in and out in record time.
As we bid adieu to French small talk, let me say bon voyage, Wanders. Make sure you send us a pic of you in front of the Giant Looming Cheeseburger when you get to S.R.

Wow, that's it with the random airport man? He recites her a very common platitude and Dawn is better? I wanted to hear about what happened to his face.

Best of luck on your road trip, Wanders. Make sure you plan your trip to Disneyland. It's crazier than usual since the Star Wars stuff opened. Check out some apps for your phone, make reservations when possible and buy any tickets you can ahead of time.
I don't know where the Peanutmobile is right now, but I did see the Oscar Myer Weinermobile a few months ago in the LA area.
Maybe Dawn will get herself a memorable tattoo!
