Don't you dare say what everybody's thinking.

Wanders, today's secret message is a classic. Huzzah, Sir!

Estelle shuts up Wilbur by stuffing a Zagnut bar in his pie hole.

Has anyone else noticed that if Arthur shaved, put on a clean shirt, wore glasses, and did a comb over, he could be Wilbur? Poor Estelle.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm loving this new and improved "liquid courage", not "family friendly" Wilbur. He's more boorish and obnoxious than ever.

Either Zak is playing along with Wilbur's drunken antics or he's just plain clueless that Wilbur is insulting him.

Estelle must have put up with a lot from poor, dead Jim, based on her Silverdaters experiences and the way Wilbur's behaving.

Wanders, Estelle stuffing the spring roll into Wilbur's piehole definitely qualifies as a panel of the year submission.

Oh, gosh, yes! Panel of the Year! I haven’t been so happy since Ted Miller (what a character) ended up wearing a muffin hat. Strange food in Mary Worth is what made me start commenting years ago, but because it was such fun trying to figure out what it was supposed to be. The trend toward actively aggressive food is exciting!

Are those fried or fresh spring rolls? 10:1 Wilbur chokes. Zak will jump up and shout, "I'm also an Eagle Scout!" and will do the Heimlich thus saving Wilbur who will then vomit all over Estelle.

I am madly in love with the way Yak Guy is just sitting there laughing at Wilbur. This is so good. I can't remember the last time I've been this excited about reading each new strip.

I hope Zak's refusal to take the bait will infuriate Wilbur to the point where he wants to fight. And that Zak will just continue to laugh at him, which will infuriate him even more.

I wonder how much more of this Estelle is going to put up with.

I'd agree this is Panel of the Year, but we're STILL ON THE APPETIZERS. Where else will this dinner go? I'm already looking forward to reliving it all at the Worthy Awards.

I'm hoping Estelle slips one of those spring rolls into her handbag. I want to see her pounding on Mary's door, then telling her about Wilbur's endearing behavior at the Thai restaurant on Elm. I can see Mary with a spring roll stuffed into her piehole; now that would be panel of the year!

Haha, OK. I'll refrain from typing about what everyone's thinking. This is a family-friendly blog, after all.

I love that Zak is just taking this in stride.

Yes, yes! Panel of the year! I love that Estelle stopped looking at her phone, woke up and took action. Once Wilbur swallows, maybe Iris could shove another one in. I am so enjoying this strip right now.

Is anyone else hoping Zak and his multitude of muscles will be punching Wilbur's mouth shut by the weekend?

The look on Estelle's face says it all. Fast forward to Wilbur waking up tomorrow and groaning his way into the shower, not remembering what happened until he gets a note from Estelle fastened to his front door with a knife that reads," Stay away from me, boor! E"

This is the way I hope it will go: Zak will continue infuriating Wilbur by not rising to the bait until our pudgy friend loses his mind and lunges for his foe. At that point, Zak will put out one of his muscly arms, plant his palm on Willie's forehead, leaving Willie to flail like a windmill, spouting incoherently.

I could also go for Zak grabbing Wilbur's arm and going through the "Why are you hitting yourself?" routine.

Who is taking care of Libby? Why wasn't she invited? She would be trotting all over the table, meowing away.

@HelenClark, I agree, Mary's got some answering to do after encouraging Estelle to give Wil-boor another try.

@Shmoopie. I would love to see Zak give Wilbur the windmill move. Another possible outcome--Estelle leaves the table in a huff (or maybe a minute and a huff (for all your Marx Brothers fans), and Iris follow so they can commiserate about what a loser Wilbur is. Wilbur is left with Zak, and eventually moves from drunken snide comments to crying on Zak's should, saying, "Why doesn't she love me? Why did she leave me? Zak, you're my only friend."

At which point Zak will start drinking.

Never mind Zak I want to see Estelle put Wilbur in a hammer lock and throw him him out of the restaurant. There wouldn't be enough humiliation in Wilbur getting man handled by Zak.

Dear Wendy, my mother-aged girlfriend accepted a double date with her ex and his new girlfriend, for some reason, at a Thai restaurant. Her ex is drunk, obnoxious and verbally attacking me. What should I do?

Arther Zerro would still be less obnoxious than Weelbur.

Tomorrow, Irish shoves a spring roll down Wilbur's gullet. Eshtelle nods approvingly at her technique.
