Did Wilbur mention anything about “Liquid Courage?”

Didn’t you have some reading to do, Dawn? Look! There are three actual books, right there in plain sight. Sure, one of them seems a little thick, but all those remedial courses you’ve been taking for twenty years have prepared you. Go for it, Dawn! We’re here for you, and we’re ready for weeks and weeks of watching you slowly turn the pages and silently sound out the words.

No Dawn. No.

No.

She's had some rhinoplasty and hip-planing done since yesterday.

It's manic-depressive Dawn!

All week: Hugo and I have an undeniable connection because our love is true! We know each other enough to love one another madly and deeply! Hugo and I are not you and Iris!

Today: Oh my God, what if my loser old man is right?

Wilbur went to Estelle’s, so why has Dawn shut her bedroom door and is leaning against it? Does this underscore her uncertainty about the wisdom of doing long distance with her (ha ha!) boyfriend? If we have to see Dawn, I prefer resentful Dawn who was jealous of Wilbur and his not-son, Kurt, or Goth Dawn, who gave Iris dirty looks when Iris dumped Wilbur for dancing Zak.

What’s hanging in the wall in p. 2? A khaki floppy ball cap? An ugly purse?

Dawn's not much on thinking things through is she? This goes a long way to explaining her persistent state of matriculation.

I wonder what Harlan Jones is up to these days.

SUNDAY

Anyone else think that Jared will be at Tony's Pizzeria? If so, I hope he's left his little Star Wars Action Figures at home.

Wow, an actual plot development on Sunday! A revolutionary move for KM! What’s not revolutionary is the stereotypical “Tony’s Pizzeria.” Why not “Boris’s Pizzeria,” or “Declan’s Pizzeria”?

HelenClark, Medical Assistant Jared would be better than Tommy Beedie, or Dr. McSleazy.

Anyone else notice Dawn referring to Hugo as “my amour”? Reminds me of Fabiana. This Weston apple didn’t fall far from the family tree.

"A tasty slice or two. " So Dawn will drown her sorrows in pizza instead of purple whiskey. By the time Hugo gets to NYC, Dawn will be Wilbur's size.

I don't blame her for opting to eat out, as those white pears don't look too appetizing. And speaking (once again) of colors in this strip, the chairs are rocking the very same two tones as Wilbur's godawful shirt last week.

So Dawn is a film major? Wilbur, she’ll never be able to support herself.

I do believe this is the first time I have seen a female character in the Worthiverse say that being alone doesn't mean you have to be isolated. What's next? Advocating that women get the vote?! Liberating times ahead!

Did I mention how excited I am that the storyline is continuing to focus on the Westons? Oh, I didn't? Huh.

Judging from the angle of her upper body, the way her hair is being blown back, and the fact that she didn't stop to put her keys away after locking the door, it looks like Dawn is running down the hall. Is the pizza at Tony's that good, or is she anxious to get away from the apartment and thoughts of her long-distance amour?
