Mary Worth 3579

This story could take a very exciting turn if Greta leads them across the freeway.

At 3 a.m., Mary calls the police to report a screaming woman who’s wandering the grounds of Charterstone. Meanwhile, Max has returned to Eve’s apartment through the open patio door and consumed two packs of hot dogs, knocked over a vase of flowers, drunk from the toilet, vomited in the middle of the bed, and fallen asleep on the sofa.

Uh-oh. Is Greta's heritage manifesting with that goose-step?

Saul: Sorry, we just can't find Max.
Eve: *Sigh* I guess that's okay. I can get another dog. Shot of Brandy?
Saul: You said "shot!"
Eve & Saul: Hahahahahahahahaha!
Greta: Woof!

THE END

Eve will give up the search only to find filthy Max, having come in through the open patio door curled up on the couch.

KitKat, I was chortling away at your comments! Glad that storm cleared up enough to allow our frantic friends to find their way with the help of a the moon's sliver. Given everyone's behavior, I am surprised JB didn't decide to make it a full moon...And WHERE IS MARY? Maybe they'll run into her out looking for earthworms after the rain in anticipation of her next fishing trip with Dr. Jeff. Trying to come up with SOME plausible reason for her to be out mucking around in the damp dark... Given Mary's absence, maybe it's time to change the name of the strip...

I understand and actually kind of admire Saul's wardrobe. Khakis. Pink shirt, dark green sweater. Not bad, not bad. What happened to the colorists with Eve???? Lavender pants????? The color combination and choice of clothes kind of reminds me of a mashup of the Scooby Gang. And not in a good way.

I hope they find Max. My dog was never found and its not fun (the FAMILY FRIENDLY BLOG note is in bold right over where i'm typing this. I want to use language that is saltier(?)than i"t's not fun. "But I'll keep it family friendly - and it really was not fun at all.

I 'd like Max to be found at home -aleep on the bed (maybe minus the hot dogs and vomit) Or else Gretta really does turn out to pick up Max's scent and finds him. What a relief. Everyone, human and canine are happy. Gretta is a hero (heroine ?) and Mary Baked muffins/dog biscuits/
