You can do better than that, Toby. This dream sequence is not over until we see some stretchy elastic limbs on the level of Instagram star Dr Drew Cory.
I’m baffled by Toby’s anxiety at the possibility of losing her job. She’s only had it a few weeks, and she’s never had a job before. It can’t be the money. The compensation for teaching one art class at a community college is barely enough to put gas in her classic VW beetle. She should tell Ian what’s going on, not that he cares. Then she should go to HR and report Helen for harassment. Their response will probably be, oh no, not that again. But those are real-world solutions, not relevant to the Worthiverse. At least we haven’t seen Wilbur in weeks.
I suspect Toby is more concerned about how her possible firing will look than about anything else. I'm sure it's a point of pride that she is teaching in academia, and she wants to look good in front of Ian, who she apparently doesn't trust to believe her, even though she was with Ian when he dealt with his Jannie problem last year. This woman needs therapy STAT. Unfortunately, she'll get decaf coffee, muffins, and bromides from You Know Who.

It’s a flashback to 5th grade in the 20th Century! Even in Toby’s dream, Cal’s wearing those same clothes - eesh.
Your secret message presents quite a picture, Wanders. Would that be a tartan leotard and coordinating tights?
Please. Make. This. Stop. NOW!!!!
When will this night ever end!!!
Drat you and your secret messages, Wanders! I'll never get that image out of my head!
This is beyond stupid.
I’m lacing up my tutu as we speak!

I'm reporting this farce to Dream Management.

LouiseF: You are confused. I never bake bromides, only muffins.
Smugly yours,
Mary F. Worth
I remember commenting at some point that Toby must be teaching art to the little kids dropped off daily at SRCc's Day Care Center. This proves it!

@meg. To be fair, she does dish out half-baked bromides.
