Considering that Toby seems to be incapable of managing anything on her own, how did she get hired at SCCc? Perhaps School Management interviewed Ian while Toby waited in the hallway. Or in the car….
M. Wanders, I think you have a future in comics beyond comics criticism! Toby doesn't seem all that jazzed about Ian stopping by after class in order to quell the hot passions of Cal. Perhaps she isn't ready to give that up just yet? It will take several more carrot muffins to muffle her.
I don't know if you allow yourself to nominate your own artwork for a Worthy Award, Wanders, but if you do, that mash-up has my vote for Panel of the Year! Inspired!
Toby doesn't want to hurt Cal. Mary suggests that Toby have Ian conveniently stop by when Cal is in class. What happens if Cal then decides to hurt Ian? Was that Mary and Toby's muffin plan all along?
