TJ is the guy who manages Northview Hospital’s staff laundry service. He keeps asking Jared when he plans to change his scrubs.
Jared: “Dawn, do you feel like I’m not enough for you?”
Dawn: [Long pause as she looks around, gazes at the sky, scratches her head, picks imaginary lint off her clothes, gets up and walks around the bench, then loudly sighs]
C'mon Jared..stick with the tried and true classics! Basics, man, basics! "It's not you, it's me", "I need some me time", or "Can we still be friends?" (Thank you, Todd Rundgren!)
TJ is actually Jared’s other cat, Thrando Jalrissian, who he is convinced is exceptionally strong in the Force and can track all Dawnie’s movements. Get up from the blah blah bench and run while you can, Dawn!
Someone posted an old Pearls Before Swine comic that joked about how that strip was going to be pulled and replace with Mary Worth. These are 2 (of many) comments:
