I can't remember for sure, but weren't Estelle and Wilbur on a break the last time we saw them? Now they've gotten back together and she wants another break? I can't keep track, and I don't want to know. For those of you who were getting tired of Dawn and Jared, please remember that it could be worse. Much, much worse.

I can't unsee the way Dawn holds her spoon. Does she grasp it close to the bowl because she has tremors? Does she grasp it like a pencil because she's about to write her heart's desire in glop? Well done, June. Uncle Joe would approve.
Dawn didn’t see the breakup with Jared coming because she was too busy ogling other men. I can’t keep up with Wilbur and Stell either. What’s the Worthiverse difference between “taking a break” and “breaking up”? The former can go on and on and on?
I can’t unsee Dawn’s new stretch neck. It looks like someone grabbed her head and pulled while someone else held her shoulders. Ugh. She’ll be Dawn the Giraffe by Friday.
Oh, yes, Stell said that if she ever saw me again it would be on an artillery plotting table. That Stell, such a kidder!

"Well, I guess it's time to buy a couple more fish. I just hope the next pair has a little more gumption and will be a little more self-sufficient."

Don't be hating on June's tribute to Modigliani! It's the highlight of this breakfast of bitter tears and wilted salad.
While we're commenting on the awkward placement of Dawn's spoon, I can't help notice the odd angle at which JB has perched Wilbur's eyeglasses. As a longtime wearer of eyewear, I imagine Wilbur's glasses tipping into his chili if he continues to wear them so that the earpieces sit atop his ears. I noticed this with Jess' sunglasses last week also. I also notice that our tendency to comment on the minutiae of illustrations is in direct proportion to how interesting the storyline is. Sad sacks Dawn and Wilbur: ho hum. Pass me that well-illustrated salt shaker.
I wonder if he still has those two fish? The fish would have most of the IQ points in that household.
Downpuppy - Perhaps KM will continue June's tribute to Modigliani and have a distraught Dawn pull a Mrs. Modigliani by throwing herself out the window. Of course, she'll probably be fine as their apartment is only on the second floor. And Dawn will likely land on Mary who's been pretending to trim the shrubs, while straining her ears to hear what's going on with the Westons.

A rocky patch?? Wilbur's love life is more like a glacial moraine.
The last time we had a Westelle storyline, Estelle was giving him a second chance for about the fourth time. She seems to be under the impression that the terms of their breakup need to be ratified by Joe Manchin.
KM's relationship idea of "taking a break:"
A jerk and a doormat not occupying the same physical space for a while.
Sheesh
