Cooool. Even though Dawn has never met Jess, her subconscious brain was able to conjure up the exact image of the type of girl Jared would dump her for. Aren't brains amazing things?

Your pithy comment and secret message both beat me to the punch, Wanders. Maybe Jared doesn’t know Dawn because he never saw her in that nightshirt before.
That dark green stuff has me flummoxed: a ribbon of it sweeps over Dawn’s left arm in p.1 and Jared and Jess are wading through it in p.2. Toxic waste from the Santa Royale nuclear power plant? A byproduct of Mary’s kelk muffin manufacturing?
I’m still hoping that Dawn begins morphing into Wilbur, but I’m thinking that KM will disappoint us, and June.
There’s something evocative about Dawn’s polkadotted flailing amidst the misty teal landscape. It feels like June is somehow trying to distract herself from the vapid storyline by recreating Christina’s World by Andrew Wyeth. And that Jared and Jess are the stodgy couple from American Gothic, but backwards. Or something.
Excellent use of negative space, is what I’m saying.
Don’t it always seem to go that you don’t know what you got ‘til it’s gone? You scorned poor Jared, now he’s floated away on green foam. Ooh, bop bop bop bop, ooh bop bop bop bop..
KitKat - Me too! I had my comment already to go, only to find that Wanders had already stolen the only two good ones. I think we should file a complaint with... Oh... never mind.
Well, I can say that the dearth of comments today must speak to this boring dream. Even in her dreams, Dawn is as dull as dish... washing soap.
