This is some industrial-strength recycling of that panel. We’ve been wondering if June is on a long vacation, but has KM forced her out?
Estelle’s debacle with Arthur/er seems like high drama compared to the tedium of the past weeks. Where are Ashlee and SHAWNA! when we could use some action?
As they say, “do what you can, where you are with what you have”. Wise words, indeed.
I think June realizes where she is is trapped in a fairly exasperating dead-end gig illustrating exceptionally repetitive storylines, and what she has is an extensive library of talking (and floating) heads stored in Adobe Illustrator.
Celebrating Eat the Comics Week, Mary enjoys a slice of Porky Pig’s jowls, while Jeff feasts on one of Scrooge McDuck’s spats. For dessert: apple pie a La Apple Mary.
