I still haven't scraped my musician wife off of the ceiling after yesterday's "Like riding a bicycle" remark. I don't think I'll show her today's strip.
“So folks, I wanna bring the room down a little and sing you a new song I’ve written. It’s called Wilbur’s Leftovers and Combovers and I don’t think you’ll enjoy it one bit.”
No google hits for the mysterious instrumentalist Anita Koolidge. Like the other patrons of Sau’s I guess I’ll be waiting with bated breath for the next dazzling solo by an amateur veterinarian who hasn’t touched the ivories in 20 years.
@Chester the Dog, wasn’t there a mention of well-known actor Saul Newman several years ago? Just imagine KM’s thought process: “Let’s see, what noted pianist can I refer to without getting hit by a cease-and-desist order? Diana Brall? Dora Jones? I know, Anita Koolidge!”

Hey, one song per patron buddy!
Anita Koolidge. Not to be confused with Rita Coolidge.
All that’s missing from Ed’s performance is a Pomeranian sitting on the piano and howling.

Ed hogging the piano leads to a brawl, and Estelle gets her licks in! Best date ever!

Out on a limb, but maybe they were not permitted to say "Rita Coolidge" in the strip.
I wish it were Jennifer Coolidge. And maybe Ed and Stell would "Bend and Snap."

Oh, KitKat; that's great!
How about Tricia Knees; Tina Sipone and don't forget Sady Dada.
