Yesterday Mary said she, Dawn, and Estelle were all “devastated” at Wilbur’s supposed death. Today she says she was “miffed.” Miffed is mildly annoyed, like when someone declines to take one of your muffins, Mary. Keep your stories straight.
The teensy-weeny plates Mary and Estelle are holding are way too small to hold one of those muffins, much less catch crumbs. I guess they are toasting with muffins because Mary hasn’t served any beverages.
Yeesh. Do the Worthy Awards include a Puke Worthy category?
Sorry, Wanders, but I have disdained the Eagles ever since Bednarik laid Gifford low. And it didn't do anything to endear them to me when Edwards took Pisarcik's botched handoff to Csonka and ran it in for a game-winning TD. Then I had to watch their 2nd string QB beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl. And Patrick Mahomes' dad once pitched for the Red Sox, so...GO CHIEFS!
If the Eagles win, Mr. Wanders, we, your faithful readers, hope we don't receive any reports of you chugging Yuengling while jumping up and down on the roof of a police car in your underwear.
Back in the 80s and 90s when malls were popular some of my girlfriends and I would go shopping on Sundays during football season including when the Super Bowl was on. The malls weren't as crowded on those days. We'd shop and have dinner. No muffins. @Catt, I agree with you, Stell is acting like she is 16, not over 60. And considering Mary's relationship with Jeff, I'm surprised Mary isn't having vapors from the way Stell is talking.

I find it discomforting to hear a 60 something year old woman discussing how her date kisses with another human.
And Go Chiefs!
Who "toasts" muffins? One "clink" and it would break in half.
Coming up, Dr. Head introduces Stell to his best bud, Arther Zerro. Hilarity ensues.

The muffin is looking right back at her!
KitKat: Mary's Muffins don't drop crumbs. They wouldn't dare! (Actually, their consistency is more or less that of chewing gum.)
Oh, is there a football game today? I’ll have to check out the Puppy Bowl. Because dogs are good.
@Frank Booth: If you gaze into the muffin, the muffin gazes also into you.
@fauxprof: YAY PUPPY BOWL!
@Scottie McW. Wanders makes no promises.
@Scottie McW., I don’t know if Wanders would do that, but I bet Wilbur would at the drop of a beer bottle, or a wine bottle, or a bottle of scotch….
I predict Estelle will end up work ng at the vets office.
