Over the weekend, we learned that Zak is now "working" because "a game" he "developed" is "taking off." Excuse me, but unless the game that this California business student developed is a ten-sided dice game called "MBA Fantasy," he isn't walking to work dressed in a suit, no matter how ill-fitting. I didn't post over the weekend because we were too busy going to Halloween parties and such:
"Gosh, Zak, what are you doing out here in nature?"
"Oh, I love nature. I do nature all the time. It beckons me to live in the here and now. It also helps me to be as predictable as possible, regardless of the odds. I mean what are the chances that we'd run into each here and now? I know, right?"
Well, it appears Zak has moved on, graduated and gotten a job. He must live in some sort of strange alternate universe where time actually moves forward and people stop taking history 101 semester after semester after semester.
Is it nurture or nature that keeps me perpetually repeating my freshman year, and pining away for the men I break up with?
While I agree with Iris in principle, it would still be better than watching Iris mope about the boyfriend SHE BROKE UP WITH!!
It's worse than you think, Iris. Fabiana is taller, has raven black hair, and is dressing a whole lot sexier than you imagine. Also, she's running her fingers through his combover.
I think this Ask Wendy column would be more interesting if there was just one little change to context:
