Thus, another exciting Mary Worth Adventure reaches its startling conclusion! And what have we learned? Saying thank you is not necessary. Thank you Mary Worth for reminding me not to say thank you. Wait. But, uh, no, wait... what do you say, Mary, if you feel, er, thankful?
With a climax like this, is there any question why this cartoon is so dang popular?

This might not be over yet.
In the second panel, it looks like Ralphie might be headed for another faining spell. Which, of course, means that his owner needs to leave him in the road again so some old lady can foot the bill for his medical care.
And for the bicycle basket they stole from her.
Oh, I'm so happy I found your blog! I'm thoroughly disappointed with the rec.art.comics group -- no one there seems to think MW worth discussing! I'll be back. I couldn't guess where this Ralphie thing was headed, but in the future it's good to know I'll have people to speculate with.
MW not worth discussing!!??
It's the only thing that gives my life meaning!!
I'm glad you like the blog. :)
Yes, I've learned a lot about plot twists reading this.
