- Mary Worth puts on a miniskirt and awaits Ron Amalfi's arrival.
- Jeff Corey calls, but Mary screens his call, mocking his pathetic voice mail message.
- Ron Amalfi breaks their date but promises to call again tomorrow with details about their next romantic dinner together.
- Mary eats a can of tuna, alone. Repeat forever.
It reminds me of the Usual Suspects or Pulp Fiction or the Sixth Sense - It's so obvious you just don't see it coming! Now we can add Mary Worth to the list of greatest stories ever told.

I'm sure Ron wouldn't be cancelling on Mary if he knew how short her dress is. Oh my.
The "something came up within the Council" excuse is growing a bit thin. Either Ron is secretly stepping out with another dinner companion or the Santa Royale town council is in fact busier than the U.S. Senate.
I agree mrcellophane. This is really growing thin. What's up with Mary? Can she be this dumb? Is the storyline going to take us to a place where Mary learns to be a more forgiving person? Will she catch Ron in the act of slippin around on her. Maybe a cat fight!?
