Every great tale is thrust forward by its Major Dramatic Question - the question that hooks our interest from the very beginning of the story: Will Adam eat the apple? Will Indiana Jones recover the lost ark? Will Superman save the world?

The way Mary is holding her hand behind Jeff, it looks like it is poking into his back. The Puppetmaster has regained control of her puppet.
Even for Mary Worth, this was a real dud of a storyline. One Early Bird Special and two days' worth of unreturned phone calls = crisis? Feh.
Oh, it only looks like a 2A. Today. Mary's condo morphs with freakish regularity, it'll be apartment 22 1/2 by morning. While Mary casually strolls through her own kitchen countertop again.
Today we see Mary standing in her doorway, lavishing attention on her doormat.
eats shoots and leaves: Can't top that one! Take a bow!
Jeez. . . I was looking forward to the Ron Amalfi-Jeff Cory fist fight in the Charterstone parking lot, then Ron beating the bejeezus out of Dr. Jeff, then Jeff going into a coma, then Ron being impeached by the outraged voters of Santa Royale and/or being sent to prison.
See, Karen Moy, that's how you write a Mary Worth story-arc!
But, the previous panel had Dr. Jeff telling Mary to come on over (to his place)so it's HIS apt # !?
OOOPS! My bad... the electronic shockaroo balloon is Dr. Jeff's, not Mary's. Shoulda known that Mary does not allow her maidenly bed to be soiled if she can use someone else's.
aaahhh
