So, uh, Mary Worth's taste in music is a little better than we all imagined? But surely Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova are better dressers than this. Congratulations to them both though for being featured in Mary Worth! What an incredible honor! I hope someone points this out to them. They'll love it!! Yeah, this really blew my mind on a Sunday morning. I never would have thought Mary Worth had the capacity to do that!

Brelgh, every time I hear this song I'll think of Mary Worth now. Thanks a lot, Mary. But surely, this is a greater honor than winning a stupid Oscar, amirite?
I am just speechless. Wanders is right: EVERYTHING has changed.
I guess this proves the power of a Best Original Song Oscar: It can break through even the sturdiest walls of cultural unawareness. Once has arrived at Charterstone. I'm pretty sure that means the rest of us can't like it anymore.
So are The Dweebs a local cover band? A tribute act dedicated to The Frames?
OK, I recovered from the shock long enough to look at the strip in its entirety, and I have two observations: first, the empty seat next to Mary. I can't be the only one who prefers to imagine that she intended it for Ron Amalfi. Maybe he'll even show up! Jeff would love that!
Second, it doesn't get more classic than Mary's comment on the act they're about to see: "You'll be glad I chose them! They are very good!" Ah, that's our girl, confidently asserting her own infallibility and telling Jeff how he ought to respond. Let's hope he's smart enough to do as he's told this time!
Oh, don't worry people. This is just like when Gilligan's Island got so tepid they had to bring on a 'very special guest star' to the deserted island every week to liven things up.
Next week, Mary plays a game of horse against the whole of the Harlem Globetrotters. And wins.
I also notice, despite otherwise being a sold-out crowd, a single empty seat to Mary's left. Is nobody brave enough to get that close to her, or is that empty seat just reserved for her smug sense of satisfaction?
