Mary Worth is about to lose it! Go Lynn, go! When the smoke starts to rise from Mary's ears, we'll know she's short circuited for good. Also, what the heck kind of car is that? And where the heck is it parked? Mary and Lynn are clearly standing on the front porch, so whose house is that in the first panel? So many distracting questions, I'm losing focus on the skate.

Could you imagine in your dad invited an old lady to come watch you train for some kind of event, and she took such an obsessive interest in your well being? I'd go insane.
There are two cars: The first one (with no trunk space) seems to end at the rear wheel well, whereas the second has a longer trunk plus the usual taillight and side lights set up. The larger car is used to tote locals to the Louisiana Succotash Festival. Warning: Wasn't Aldo Keltrast's last car this same color blue?
I can't wait for the next thrilling episodes in Mary's dogged determination to finish a conversation...
Monday: Mary splays herself across the hood of the car, and hangs on all the way to the ice rink (in spite of Frank's efforts to dislodge her by swerving back and forth)
Tuesday: Mary follows Lynn into the dressing room and harangues her while she's changing
Wednesday: While Lynn practices, Mary continually shouts across the arena that she can't bear to see Lynn so upset
Thursday: Lynn and Frank, reunited by a common purpose at least, go all Gilooly on Mary's cranium.
jvwalt: That is "Gillooly" with two "l"s if you are referring to Tanya Harding's ex-husband Jeff Gillooly.
Anonymous: Kelrast only has one "t".
Clearly Frank has sunk every dime into Lynn's skating career, since he's been driving a '91 Mazda 323 all these years.
The level of Mary's frustration is rising! For Mary, thinking, "I can't ... I won't" is the same as "Oh, it's on, beeyotch!" I can't wait for her to explode!
Before turning to illustration, MC Escher was an automobile designer. That car pictured there was the only design of his ever produced. If you look under the front seat, you'll find yourself peering up over the back seat.
He later went on to design condos in a little California berg called "Charterstone".
Okay...something fishy is definitely going here. Today is the second time we've seen Mary apply her Meddling Claw to Lynn's spine, and yet Lynn still continues to resist Mary's will. Impossible!
Steroids don't even begin to explain this...Lynn has got to be some sort of alien. Or some sort of superhuman mutant. Because there's absolutely no way a mere mortal would ever have the strength of will to resist Mary's dreaded Powers of Persuasion. No way at all...
