I appreciate Frank's willingness to express his feelings for his daughter in public. Most parents are embarrassed to express themselves openly. Most would wait until they got home to privately tell their child how they feel about them. But not Frank. Frank courageously yells across the ice rink, "I forbid you to speak to that boy! If you talk to him again, we're moving!" And Lynn, ever the devoted daughter, honors her father's wishes by giving the silent treatment to her best friend. A less loyal child might have taken advantage of any one of thousands of private moments with Greg to explain her father's objections.

No, Lynn would rather torture this blameless, wildlife-loving boy than tell him what her father apparently has screamed all over the ice rink anyway. This plot line is getting sillier by the day.
I fear that sillier is not possible. Of all the comic strips in all the newspapers in all the world, Mary Worth is by far the worst. There is no doubt that a junior high school project would result in better writing. Look at the Mary Worth of decades past and weep. There is nothing more to say. Mary Worth readers of the world unite. We must begin a grass roots effort to unseat Moy. She must be stopped.
