Mary, choose your words carefully. Of course Adrian looks well... compared to the guy in the bed behind you with the tubes coming out of his face. How do you think he feels when he hears you say that?
Re: Secret message. The bride's family pays for the wedding...in 1952. Today, adults who are on their own generally share the expenses. But who knows how it's done in Charterstone?
The tubed fellow in the bed, is likely one of Dr. Adrien's patients she has neglected while on her three - week dating and dining spree with Ted Confi(dence Man).
As much as it hurts, we have to face up to the fact that neither of Dr. Jeff's physician offspring care much about their patients. Not long ago, Drew was dabbling in equestrian activities while courting both Vera and Dawn. Now where is he -- North Viet Nam of all places.
Hey where were they yesterday, Sunday? Did you catch the skyscrapers in the background? And Adrien's red coat!!! Did she get her orange one painted at the "Coat of Paint" shop, or is it a new one. Nice red, I must admit.
Mary is a Candy Stripe girl and has been volunteering (meddling)at the hospital for years. The only thing more obvious than Ted's scam is Moy's lack of talent. It wouldn't have taken much imagination to make Ted a truly ominous predator.
Adrian's comment in today's second panel ("If I couldn't afford it on my doctor's salary, I wouldn't be doing it") proves that Moy still lives in an alternate '50s universe. Because only people who are doctors can afford to get married.
A couple of us commented on the SR skyscrapers on Saturday's blog. What a SHOCK to see such a skyline in SR!! Who knew?
Adrian needs to forget her patients and run right home and write a letter (or e-mail, if she's mastered that much interwebbery) to "Dear Ask Wendy"! Wilbur, er...I mean, "Wendy" will have surely have some wonderful insights for her.
I thnk Moy was a victin of identity theft, did not do well in medical school and was jilted by a con artist.
Back to the skyscrapers in Santa Royale. I noticed them, and thought maybe the lovebirds flew to New York City for coffee and dessert. Then, I realized they may have run into ...Lydia!!!
Didn't we see skyscrapers before, where it was determined by a careful study of Joe Giella's artwork that Councilman Amalfi's office was on the 403rd floor of a skyscraper?
Where is Charterstone in relation to Santa Royale? Or is that just asking too much?

The poor patient with tubes on his face appears to have been shoved into the janitors closet. Mountview Hpospiptal seems to be a pretty shoddy place.
Not only is Ted doing everything he can to avoid contributing to the wedding costs but he also wishes to speak to Jeff about the dowry.
What is Mary doing in the hospital? Does she have any excuse other than full-on meddling?
