This is perfect! Mary knows all about taking a break. She and Jeff did it exactly one year ago today. I guess Karen Moy somehow understands how much we need another "Taking a Break" story each year. The only thing we're missing is a good pool party. It seems like forever since we all got to put on our best business casual and hit the pool. I wonder what Delilah did to get kicked out of the house?

Mary herself took a break from her usual involvement in others' lives during Adrian's saga. Now she's tanned, rested, and ready to take on Delilah's / Lawrence's case. Go get 'em, Mary!
Delilah must be in hot water because she spent all of Lawrence's hard earned money on patio furniture.
Isn't it the man who is usually sent packing? What would Delilah's attorney have to say? Maybe the home is in Lawrence's name and Delilah will need Mary's help to break the iron clad prenup.
I find Delilah beautiful and poised, and ... consequently ... beyond reproach.
I know that she's both strong and fragile just by looking at her patio furniture. She SHOULD be with the kind of man who would choose the name Lawrence over Larry even if jealousy occasionally gets the better of him, which is most likely the case.
And I hope Mary can resolve the spat within 2 months because Delilah and Lawrence probably host the most elegant summer gatherings. I'd like to see Jeff, (looking tall and fit like he did the other day outside of the Bum Boat), Mary (in her yellow dress and pearls), Delilah and Lawrence standing around that patio furniture. It would look like a scene from High Society!
Lawrence gets to keep the dog.
Delilah gets to keep the patio furniture.
Sounds fair to me.
Hey, Wanders. Are you going back to your old blog format??
Mary's just itching to get back to her Olympic level meddling. That skating storyline and her subsequent gold medal lulled her into a temporary sense of complacency, accounting for her minor involvement in the Adrian saga.
Robert, Looking back at the body language, distorted features, and blank stares, wouldn't you agree that Mary's lack of involvement with Adrian's drama was, more than likely, because she just couldn't stomach the girl? ...woman? ...girl.
Ha! I think you're right. Clearly Mary cares less about her boyfriend's daughter than some of the other women's lives she can't stay out of.
The patio set doesn't look complete yet, though! It's missing a table with an umbrella, maybe a few more chairs, some outdoors artwork, and wouldn't a copper fire pit look grand!? Well, I bet Chester is right-- in mid-delivery of said patio set,
Lawrence prolly got all steamed and ordered everything returned!!!
I think that spiky plant looks quite menancing. It looks like it's about to poke poor ol' Delilah! Hurry, Mary, hurry!
No Numbat, Scott gets to keep the dog. ;)
