Mary Worth 813

How reassuring it is that even a master meddler like Mary Worth can feel discouraged. It's up to God now... the only Being capable of exerting more influence in a person's life than Mary.

"Mary leaves Mike's office with a heavy heart."

That's what she's got in her hands there. Bwahahah.

Please don't go giving Moy ideas there, about Wilbur and all. Gads.

@Hermite. Very funny! I imagine it is Mike's heart which she will deliver to Jenna.

Mary scurries past Chief of Staff, "Dr. Wiku"'s door, hoping he doesn't see her. Too LATE! He looks up from the mother and boy and SCOWLS at Mary from down the hall.

Dr. Wiku has his suspicions about Mary and is going to get to the bottom of this! Every doctor at Mountview must have at LEAST a correspondence course diploma (like Adrian's) to practice there. He highly doubts Mary can produce one.

Vicki, Mary doesn't have to worry because she's magically cured Dr Mike! Gee, I wish MY neuroses would disappear as easily...

Yes, Phoebe, but there were whispers swirling around the halls of Mountview as Dr. Mike's groans and wailings were heard emanating from his office door. Someone said they saw Mary Worth go in there and that she was either practicing medicine or witchcraft. Dr. Wiku wants to nip this activity in the bud, LOL! :)

Kids: "Hi, we'd like to be doctors here. We jump rope, PLAY doctor and like the Smurfs."

Dr: "Sorry, you're over qualified."

Is it me, or are the stories getting progressively more boring and slow moving? And whatever happened to Bonnie & Ernie? I want resolution to their storyline! I don't care about crybaby Mike's neurosis.

What's with Mary's pig nose in the first panel?

So. Not only did Mary psychoanalyze a psychoanalyst without having a license, but apparently it worked; that is, if we can assume that Dr Mike is actually dialing Jenna's number in the second panel. This strip is like a train wreck I can't look away from--but I guess that's why we are all here!

Bonnie and Ernie were apparently just an intro into this other "more interesting" situation between Jenna and Mike.

Does anyone really believe that mary gave ALL the advice she could? Really?!

I bet she could have gone on for weeks more if Dr. Mike hadn't kicked her out to watch his black and white thought bubble.

Dave, awesome comments! Mary's well of advice is never empty. And I wanted to comment on Dr. Mike's sad black & white memories, but couldn't find a witty way to phrase it.

yep. it turns out Mike's memories are neither misty nor watercolored.
