This has been the best Christmas ever. Thank you Mary Worth. I thought Jill making a scene at the rehearsal dinner was as good as it could get, but now a story?! I love stories! Here are four of my favorites:"Why Bonnie Compulsively Shops"

Each a classic in its own right. Each a story I return to again and again. I'm sure "Why I Drink Heavily" will be every bit the classic we expect it to be.

Actually, the most interesting, i.e. stupid, story is the one about why/how Mary dates Jeff. (If you can call their passionless relationship "dating").
Evidently Mary was in a previous relationship and when she'd get mad at the guy, she'd stop talking to him for WEEKS. Somehow, that relationship seemed to me to be somewhat one-sided, if they could go weeks without speaking and only Mary noticed.
Wanders, can you link to that story strip? It's one we should all read and put to use in our own one-sided relationships. Thanks.
OMG - as soon as I saw those wonderful words, "I'm going to tell you a story, Mary...", fall from Jill's lips, I knew this was going to be the best Christmas ever! Please Jill, keep drinking!

I'd just like to reiterate that Mary talking about her "compulsion to help others" always makes me laugh. She makes it so easy sometimes!

If only someone compiled the Mary Worth "stories" into a digest form, and sold it at magazine stands everywhere. What a stocking stuffer that would be! It could be titled:

I'm crossing my fingers that Jill's story is as fantastic as Jill has been so far. Bonnie?Bonnie Johnson's story was very short, boring, and had no pictures. I want to SEE the anguish of the past this time! We got great pictures from the vigilante's son's saga, but sadly, I don't think he ever said the magic "tell you a story" words. (Honestly, that Jenna story was so dull, I can't even remember the name of the psychologist with the changing hair colors!)
Today's blog was a happy little stroll down memory lane! I had so forgotten about Bonnie and all of those boxes! Oh, this story only gets better - thanks, Wanders!!
