Mary Worth 963

I'm worried about US too! I'm worried that this story could go on for a whole 'nother week. An entire WEEK!

This is starting to turn into a marital dispute....between FATHER and DAUGHTER. Perhaps, Dawn has been living with Wilbur a BIT too long. Time to move out of the house, now, dearie :)

"And lastly, I'm worried that our 1950 Frigidaire might not be the best place to store your iPhone and my canned corn."

Between "I'm worried about us" and "we never talk anymore," this storyline is getting downright creepy. In REAL life Dawn would whirl around and say, "Oh, *I* see! The Internet was just fine for YOU to troll and go find that fake son of yours, but when *I* start to use it you have to go running to that old biddy Mary Worth, who still has a crank on the front of her car..."

Another shirt change for Wilbur, I see. I'm starting to miss the amoebas.

I think maybe it's time for Wilbur to grow up and move on! A little time away from Charterstone will give everyone a well-deserved breather. And Dawn will be able to go back to her briefcase/laptop and Coke-with-a-straw.

I started to wonder this morning whether I had misunderstood the domestic situation at the Weston household all this time and Dawn is really Wilbur's child bride not his daughter. But I see from the other contributions that they do indeed appear to be father and daughter - just in a spiraling out of control creepy relationship. Bring back the amoebas!

Run to the dorms, Dawn, run to the dorms! They may be a little cramped & messy, but at least you wouldn't have Wilbur questioning your every text. Betcha miss those long fishing trips Walter took with Kurt NOW, huh?

Oh, good grief, Wilbur! Get a hobby, already!

Nice balcony in frame 1. I wonder how you get to it--maybe hurtle yourself through the window after the conversation.

I'm disappointed that the thought bubbles in the first panel aren't coming from the shadow of a cool hat like a sombrero--B?BJ's appartment window conversations had much more style. A fez would suit Wilbur well.

p.s. Wilbur's just upset that he's started doing the "YMCA" dance, and Dawn hasn't followed his lead.

C'mon Dawn: you can make an M while holding you cell phone!

So glad to see the windows are talking again! I missed them after Bonnie? Bonnie Johnson?'s story. Are all of the windows at Charterstone so dramatic?

I forget: just how old is Dawn? 12?

Actually, looking back at the last few strips, I'm worried about the perpetual, turbulent face changing that Wilbur's going through.

@heydave - yeah, it's a little like that movie 'Altered States' where that guy is in the isolation tank and starts to metamorphose - oddly reminiscent of the isolation tank of Charterstone...

Dawn on her iPhone: "No, Amber, I can't hang out tonight. My dad and I are going through a rough patch in our relationship, so we're going to have a quiet dinner of canned corn and real conversation. Wish me luck! See you on facebook later."

Dawn needs her own place.
