Vegetable Terrine? Are you kidding? Have you ever had vegetable terrine? I have yet to see a vegetable terrine that didn't make me want to just gag! Gag at the very site of it. I'm sure one of our dear readers has a great recipe, but I promise that this will be the least served food on Super Bowl Sunday.

Nola seems shocked that Mary would actually invite her to her place for dinner. Perhaps she feels it is too early in their "relationship" for such a thing.
How nice of Mary to offer Nola a vegetarian entree choice, in case her PERSONAL problem is that she is vegan.
wv: "misms" - short for Mary-isms, which she tends to spout.
Those poor veggies look like they were left put of the good veggie dishes.
put=out
That vegetable terrine might not look great to you, but I bet its delicious!
An ominous note as the mysterious lurking vegetation looms behind Mary in the second panel, when it was nowhere in evidence in the first one. Major meddling must be about to occur, and the mystery plant doesn't want to miss out on the action!
I think Mary is feeling a bit down after the Emily excitement ended, she seems so desperate to capture Nola in her lair.
The suspense is killing me; I can't wait to see how Giella draws vegetable terrine.
That looks mightily like a giant cannabis plant behind Mary. Dawn! What are you up to now, you cwazy kid?
Mary's vegetable terrine used to be mean, but after some meddling it learned the error of its ways.

Did Mary grow the vegetables for that terrine? I can picture her with her lethal pruning shears - yikes.
What if Nola is a pescatarian, with an allergy to gelatin, tofu and onions? More importantly, what if she is actually the Kelk heiress, and only wants someone that loves her for HER, and not for her Kelk millions?
Here in the land of hot chicken I'd never heard of vegetable terrine, and I think I would have been happy to continue through life unaware - that looks disgusting.
Mary, go with the beef stroganoff.
I'm shocked, SHOCKED that Mary isn't offering up her salmon squares or shrimp scampi! Perhaps Nola isn't worthy of such, or perhaps the seafood went bad in her fridge b/c she spent too much time cackling about saving Emily.
I want to know if Mary is going to invite Jeff and Delilah's husband to dinner too, for a nice litle foursome. Add Toby and the irresistable Professor Ian for a fun little group.
wv: upedifi, which what I always try to do. It's hard to be edifying with Mary Worth though.
It doesn't matter how it looks in real life as Mary's vegetable terrine will either be beige or purple colored or in round disc form.
It's making my mouth water as we speak!
I'm a vegetarian, and the words "vegetable terrine" send shivers down even my spine.
