I can't stand the breakneck pace at which this story line is proceding. I mean, wasn't it only Sunday when Mary urged Beth to call Tom? Since then, Beth tried to call Tom, couldn't bring herself to do it, and announced to her mother she was going to the grocery store. That's a lot of action for three days.
Except for the inevitable exercise/meddling-update power walks, does everyone in the Worthiverse drive everywhere? Exactly how inconveniently located is Charterstone that even a quick trip on foot for some groceries is out of the question?
Is Beth going to the store or going to volunteer at the hospital? She has a brown shoulder bag and is wearing the nondescript cardigan, which seemed to be Dawn's uniform.
Beth needs to get a full-length mirror. Her jeans in Panel One have a serious fit problem. What is going on with them in the crotch area is really unattractive.
Thanks for the checklist, everybody. Tom is blandly generic enough to pass as an anonymous background character--in fact, a lot of the anonymous background characters have been a lot more interesting.
Tom could easily be Jim or Dave. Put blue-black hair on him and he's Bobby.
Kind of the same thing happened to me today. It was a grocery store run also. That's kind of pathetic when my own life mirrors Mary Worth (and it's not the first time!).

LOL! I love how Tom has morphed from a trog to this dapper fellow! I also love his telepathy!!
For those who don't know, while Comics Kingdom gets its act together, you can see today's strip by clicking on "Buy a Print".
You can even buy a print!
Two arms? Check--it's not Jim.
Thermos of soup? Check. It IS Tom Harpman!

Does Tom get his suits fron Elinor's upholsterer? The fabric is an exact match.
How unusual that people living in the same condo complex should run into each other. It truly is fate.
"Of all the parking lots at all the condo entrances in all of Charterstone, she has to walk into mine."
Wow, it's a good thing Beth took the time to apply that patent-leather hair rinse!
Is Tom heading to that fuchsia-and-black plastic car? It figures that a Charterstone hottie like him would drive a car that unusual.
That was quick. I was expecting Beth to run into Tom in the grocery store, not the condo parking lot.
