2K's line really does sound like the lead-in to a musical number. The humble little grocery boy can do a spin, holding that fake bag up over his head, Stalker Toby in the foreground can suddenly turn and do jazz hands, and Hurrying Businessman With Briefcase can leap and do something very Twyla. Mary, of course, just stands there enthralled, hands clasped in joyful appreciation, turning one way, then the other, in rapt glee at the prospect of New York, New York!
Wanders, thank you for the clip - I've always admired that production of Annie. What a cast! Alan Cumming and Kristin Chenoweth are a real hoot as Rooster and Lily, too.

Sorry, Wanders, but as the note under the YouTube video mentions, that is Alicia Morton in the role of Annie, not Andrea McArdle.
It's simply amazing that Ken Kensington can walk down the street with being accosted by autograph seekers and paparazzi.
@Thorpnotized, Wanders acknowledged that Andrea McArdle was playing a different role here. He just mentioned that she was the original Broadway Annie.
