Mary Worth 1867

It looks like Dr. Kapuht has taken to injecting bottles of Robitussin® directly into his veins. Because other than that, I can't think of what kinds of drugs would be stored in that sample cabinet. Of course, this is Mountview Hospital, so maybe that's where they keep their heroin.

With Moy, the equation seems to be bad = drugs. A more subtle storyline about Kapuht having mediocre diagnostic skills and sloppy surgical habits would be too complicated.

On the other hand, maybe this is Tommy's real father, not the late Mr Beedie.

C'mon, Wanders! Back in the evil, drug-doing 70's, that's what Uncle Joe thought drugs cabinets looked like. Surely nothing has changed since then! It's inconceivable that computers would be used to monitor access to drugs cabinets, for example.

Inconceivable!

Poor Doc Kapuht. In addition to having diabetes, he has to deal with unfounded accusations about his doctoring skills.

Mountview Hospital has been granted exemptions from every conceivable controlled-substance handling law and standard. The funding for a Pyxis machine was diverted to the installation of state of the art Hospital Hi-Fi in all intensive care units.

Mountview Hospital is not accredited by any recognized healthcare agency and is actually technically not a hospital, but is classified as a rehabilitation facility for delusional, mostly non-human stereotypes.

If you need a tummy cyst removed, you'd be better of having the procedure done in a food truck than Mountview Hospital.

Also, Mary Worth has been named Mountview Hospital Volunteer of the Year for fourteen years running, for she is an exemplar of this great institution's commitment to utterly fictional healthcare.

I would rather read a comic strip about Herr Doktor Kapuht than I would Mary Worth. And what is Les Moore from Funky Winkerbean doing in this story arc?

Maybe Olive said that Dr. Kapuht is A BAD DOCTOR because he's left handed. Anti-lefty prejudice is still a problem, even with the younger generation and with flower fairies.

That's the scariest syringe I've seen in ages all metal with the ring at the top - and that needle! Maybe Mountview offers livestock vaccinations as well as torso cystectomies.

Oh, dear, I hope Dr. Kapuht is not going to inject the Mr. Hyde potion!

Mark my words....Dr. Kapuht is going to turn up dead before this is all said and done.

Thus be to all ginger-men!
Perish, and become the ever-living thrall of the unholy Kelrast!
