It's a HUGE change. Somerset is newer than Charterstone, and Somerset doesn't have apartments with two floors, which apparently Charterstone does, unless Hanna brought the banister with her when she moved in as a bit of quirky decor.
Considering that the only Somerset folks Hanna spoke with were Sean and Felicia, Sean could be one of the nicer, not one of the nicest. The prospect of a quick trip to the altar with Sean has made Hanna even more addled than usual.
Karen Moy is such a romantic. Unexpected love solves every problem. I wonder if she's writing from personal experience.
Hannah's daughter Amy, who will arrive looking for some childcare time while Hannah is galavanting with Sean, will not be pleased about her mother's new interest.
@Tony at 8:37 AM, I thought of an alternate scenario with Amy and Sean. Hanna tells Amy, "Meet your new stepfather!" Amy and Sean recognize each other, and Sean sputters, "Hey, you told me your name was Trixie!" (Sadly, this would never happen in the Worthiverse.)
When I was visiting my mother in her Somerset-esque retirement community earlier this week, Sean Hastings, or whomever Uncle Joe used as his model for same, stepped on the elevator with us. He really chatted up my mom. Meh, he's a player.

that's not Hanna Dingdon, it's Sarah Winchester!

What a lot of baloney. Somerset is three years away, and people Hanna's age do not talk or behave this way.
KM is at best a dork and at worst lazy.
This makes all Harlequin Romances look like fine literature.

I love Uncle Joe.
