Mary Worth 1962

It makes sense that Gordy would sit in the front seat given Mary Worth's 1962 vibe, but why in the world would he be wearing a seat belt.

I'm also struggling to figure out what time it is. Assuming Hanna's concert started at 7:00 p.m., and ended at 9:00, and then 20 minutes to their seats at Diner, and 10 minutes to make Mean Tuna Clubs, it was at least 9:30 p.m. when Amy called. What kind of guy is this Dave character to be picking sweet little Amy up so late?

Happy New Year to all!

Wanders, I've been trying to figure out the time of day ever since Hanna and Sean went to the concert. I figured it was a matinee performance, which gave the incipient lovebirds time to catch the early-bird special at the Diner. The window view gave the appearance of daylight, too. Now that seems not to be the case. Just like Gordy's shifting age, time in the Worthiverse is fluid.

It's Panel Two that's truly amazing. Gordy is actually excited about tagging along on his mother's date? And Mama's crazed look is priceless.

Happy 2015 to all.

I see someone else noticed Gordy's shifting age. His responses in today's panel made no sense to me considering the age he seemed to be previously.

I care what time it is. Specifically, what time is it where that driving posture is even remotely realistic in any sort of automobile in the United States?

Road rage car wreck and it's all Hanna's fault. Guilt, guilt, Old Piece of Work.
Voted for the Worthy Awards, what a trip down memory lane. So few stories, so much time. Here's wishing Moy + Giella lots of inspiration in 2015!

Mary Worth never gives us the time of day...
