"I was in ::cough-cough:: 'law enforcement.'" That's one way to put it. Without Super Villain Adam Miller and his ilk, an entire segment of the industry would be unemployed. #JusticeLeagueofAmerica
Yup. Mary is on the job interrogating all new residents of her domain. So slick how she disguises her nosiness by veiling it in pretending to be helpful. Hopefully this "law enforcement" trained individual will know how to handle meddlesome busybodies like her. Yeah--right. THAT'LL happen!!
So Mary's expunging of Hanna from Charterstone was just a mere warm-up for the battle with evil Adam. Her initial meddle-attack is impressive and has Adam reeling a bit. Will he fight, flee, or freeze?

Is that a Joe Giella drawing? Because Black Canary bears a striking resemblance to Toby Cameron.
They'll need to add a new character to the Justice League of America for Mary - The Inquisitor -
"Police officer? Um, no, Secret Service, until my recent 'incident.'"

Is Mary whispering in this panel?

Who's the superheroine in blue with the white cape?
Good thing Adam has his lucky rabbits foot tucked behind his ear. He'll need it.
The comment from Carl's Laptop was spot on, but it was Meg's that elicited the spit-take!
