Mary Worth 2027

McDugal? Of all the politicos you could have chosen to name Adam's hero after, you picked Jim McDougal? The real Jim McDougal died in 1998 in a federal correctional facility at the age of 57 after being convicted on 18 counts of fraud and conspiracy in the Clinton's Whitewater case. He also made his second failed run at Congress during the height of the controversy.

Is it political differences that drive Adam and Terry apart? Is he protecting a crooked congressman, while she is investigating him for fraud?

Here's something that might cheer Terry up. Sutton Foster tap dancing in Thoroughly Modern Millie. There's nothing like tap dancing to help you "Forget About the Boy!" Bernadette's intro is about 35 seconds, so skip ahead if you must, but, really, who would skip Bernadette? You'll want to go full screen on this.

Thanks for the day-brightened, Wanders. I love big Broadway numbers and big Broadway voices!

As to today's strip, if the Secret Service provides personal protection for all of Congress, the country is going to go bankrupt even more quickly.

Terry shoves him like Elaine telling Jerry to "Get out of town!"

Now there's a contrast to Moy......talent. And who can resist even 35 seconds of Bernadette.

Congressman McDugal? Isn't he the rogue legislator whose failed coup attempted to take over the federal government? I remember that the chief of his security detail was injured when he tripped over a skateboard.

Anyone else get a really odd Captcha today? I had to identify photos of wine.

I am completely captivated by the focus on Architectural Elements in today's featured panel, especially since they are absent completely in Panel One.

They certainly do add motion and drama. I just can't figure out why they aren't part of Panel One, but then, so is the swelling in Terry Bryson's right cheek. She looks like she has been Going Undercover as a dental patient.

Well now I want to go sign my daughter up for tap dancing lessons. Fun video, thanks Wanders.

This could be a nod to House of Cards when Underwood insists that Meacham becomes his secret service agent then manipulates him into hanky panky with him and Claire. Mc Dugal has been whispering in Adam's ear.

How will Mary meddle in this? She doesn't even know what's going on. I can't wait!

I'm thinking if Adam is going into Protective Services, he should at least consider losing the orange tweed suit.
