I've finally figured out Adam Miller's super-villain identity: The Skunk! Ever since getting betrayed and shot by the Congress-Man, however, he has struggled to incorporate the cane into his persona. But if the cane shot out his Skunk Musk, that could work. Go with that, Skunk. I'm sure bullets would be no match for your Skunk Musk.
Be sure to keep Mary Worth in San Diego where she belongs. Another newspaper needs to know that Mary Worth is hugely popular! Cast your very important ballot by clicking here. I should mention that this isn't the first time the Union Trib questioned their inclusion of all things Mary Worth. Back in 2008, thanks to readers like you, Mary was spared. Let's get out that vote!

Thank you so much for getting out the vote!! Wanders, I owe you some kelk cookies or a searing hot casserole delivered with my bare hands.
As for Skunk Man, yes indeed the skunk musk will handle this situation nicely. If Mr Not-So-Clean happens to get off a shot first what are the chances it hits Terry in the leg? Matching canes! The extra slow walk down the aisle! Dreamy.
The Skunk - love it! Just voted to keep MW in San Diego :-) Looks like the mugger changed into his Members Only jacket mid mug. Wasn't he wearing a suit jacket in yesterday's strip?
Can I vote for Mary Worth as least favorite more than once?
Terry has no worries - as Teflon Girl the bullets will merely bounce off of her.
My guess is that the mugger is really an assassin hired by another evil villain trying to take out the Skunk Man.
(Another vote to keep Mary Worth in SD.)
So, Teflon Girl and Skunk Man are up against...Lex Luthor? Gee, Lex must have fallen on hard times, to go from super villain master criminal to mere mugger.
My vote has been counted in San Diego.
Why does the mugger have half a beard and a wonky eye?
I have put in my vote to keep Mary Worth a couple of times. I live in San Diego, and our paper may have its faults, but it does have an awesome selection of comics. The paper just got bought by Los Angeles, so I'm sure they are looking to cut back on a lot of things.
If they're looking for comics to cut, I agree with Sandi Ego on "Family Circle". Add "Marmaduke", "B.C.", and "The Wizard of Id", as far as I'm concerned.
You don't have to live here in order to vote!
@Carlye--I agree with you on all of those. How many times can you make The Dog Is Really Big jokes? "Marmaduke" is just Not Funny.
In July sometime, when Terry Bryson finally defends herself against the mugger and Adam Miller has to help her, she will breathlessly (and with ONE lock of hair astray) say, "Oh, Adam! We DO make a GOOD TEAM!" and then they will, of course, kiss and get married.
In August.
Tomorrow's strip: KARATE CHOP!!!
If Terry's strategy is to bore the mugger to death, she has a chance.
If I'm not mistaken, Muggy Muggerson is wearing black tighty-whities over his pants. Those crazy Californians!
It was gratifying to vote against Marmaduke, Family Circus, For Better or Worse, and some others - woo hoo!
The Skunk - yay! That explains the morphing stripes perfectly. Mr. Giella must be thrilled to return to his glory days.
Thank you all for your votes! This blog is the only reason I even read Mary Worth; I would feel so left out if I couldn't see each sparkling new story line first thing in the morning.
@Carlye, I'm hoping with Papa Doug gone the paper can return to a modicum of its former dignity. I was hugely encouraged when they changed the masthead on the very first day.
