Toby, do you think New University Director's are idiots? He's going to take one look at your apartment kitchen, see that you don't have a rotisserie oven, and know this chicken came directly from the EL section of Food Team.

That looks more like a Jiffy Pop chicken.

Won't NEW University Director man hear the microwave ding once it's heated?

Hopefully, it will explode.

Wanders, I also noted the "EL" sign and wondered. Going by the ring-shaped objects below, perhaps the sign says BAGEL, except wouldn't it read BAGELS? Those things are miserable excuses for bagels, or for donuts if that's what they are.

One rotisserie chicken for three people? Ian can probably eat three himself. Dinner at the Camerons should be a free-for-all.

It's refreshing to see how neatly the bagels are arranged at Food Team.

Well...if she forgets to buy napkins, at least everyone can wipe their greasy chicken fingers on Ian's hideous green sports coat.

Er. . .my husband brought home that exact chicken, complete with plastic-domed cover, several nights ago. Get that, Toby? My HUSBAND brought home the chicken. He was perfectly capable. I am annoyed again to see that Karen Moy persists in setting the interactions and state of human relations between men and women somewhere circa 1965. . . On another note, It's good to see that M. Giella does his research on what's being offered in the prepared foods department of supermarkets these days. .. .

Wow, Food Team has really big grocery carts. Surely there's room for a side dish or two, maybe a nice strawberry pie (also under a plastic dome) for dessert? Now, since Toby's an artist, will she go home and create a lovely tablescape a la Sandra Lee? Even though the repast will not even be semi-home made. I suggest using some of the less belligerent gray figurines, and a guest appearance by Chin Napkin.

Hilton may cancel at the last minute, or perhaps he's a vegetarian, or maybe the Berkeses are grocery magnates (making the store's roast chicken very familiar to him), or most likely, this particular batch of chicken has been recalled due to Salmonella, and it will be most odd that both the store's chicken and Toby's homemade chicken of the same appearance are affected.
